Welcome to the Flight of the Blue Wren a special Gould centenary community awareness project to protect Australia’s native birds. This special email series will bring you a selection of Australian native birds which are commonly found in backyards with a short description of where they are found, what to look for and their mating habits. The program is also designed to provide simple hints on bird watching and activities for children to gain an appreciation of local birdlife.
