Outline

Students undertake the following in small groups:

You work for the Living Planet Tourist Books company. Your assignment is to produce a guide for ecotourism visitors to Africa, Australia or Antarctica (choose one). The customers that purchase the guides from your company are keen travelers that are looking for that special natural experience.

They tend to be well educated about natural history and wildlife. In your guide make sure you promote the uniqueness of the environment, its biodiversity value and its history of environmental use. This guide is designed to inspire and inform travelers about their destination.

The local Adventure Treckers Club has asked you to speak at their next meeting about your guide book. You hope to sell some of the books so you want to encourage, enthuse and inform the members of the club about travelling to this location through your presentation.
