About Gould Group
 Gould Group is an independent non-profit organisation dedicated to environmental education and training in sustainability.
We conduct environmental education and sustainability programs and projects for schools, businesses and the community.
How we began
Established in 1909, our organisation has been recognised as an innovator and leader in environmental education with multiple state, national and international awards.
 Our programs assist individuals, families and communities to adopt more environmentally sustainable lifestyles and our programs have been a major catalyst for change for many generations of Australian families.
For decades, Gould has been at the forefront of environmental education particularly in Australian schools, reaching hundreds of thousands of children with highly original and effective programs and resources. We create student leaders who in turn influence their families and communities.
 More recently we have significantly extended our activities to encompass wider audiences and creative use of delivery mechanisms including interactive communication technology. Our innovative projects include: community engagement programs, education resources for environment and sustainability areas, consultancy services, wildlife education, e-learning and major whole school and community programs such as Multicultural School gardens and Green Schools.
Our work is consistent with the declaration of the United Nations Decade of Education for Sustainable Development 2005-2014, recognising that education offers opportunities for learning, participation and action and empowerment by building skills and capacity. Education allows people to make informed decision making and assists people take greater responsibility for their choices, actions and impact.

 Gould Group is a company limited by guarantee and its registered address is Genoa Street, Moorabbin, Victoria.
It is a registered charity with income tax exemption and has deducible gift recipient status. Gould Group is officially registered on the Environmental Register of Environment Organisations by the Department of Environment and Heritage and Australian Business Register.
