These lasting legacies help us continue our work to provide school and community education programs to value and care for the environment for generations to come.
Making a Bequest in your Will
Your Will is one of the most important documents that you will ever prepare. It ensures that the people and organisations that you care about are provided for after your death.
In preparing your Will, your first concern will obviously be for your family and others close to you. After providing for the financial security for your loved ones, you may like to consider including a bequest to the Gould Group in your Will.
By remembering the Gould Group, you can turn your Will into an investment for the future. Bequests provide an invaluable form of support to allow us to provide many services that would otherwise not have been possible.
What types of charitable bequest can I make?
Ask your legal advisor about the variety of charitable bequests you can make. You may choose to leave:
- A specific sum of money
- A percentage of your estate
- A residual bequest (whatever is left after all other gifts and costs have been deducted from your estate)
- A gift of property, shares, artworks or insurance policies
How do I make Gould Group a beneficiary in my will?
It's very easy to make Gould Group one of your beneficiaries. We suggest using the following wording in your will, but it is also important to check with your legal advisor:
"I devise and bequeath to Gould Group free of all taxes and other deductions [amount and/or type of bequest] to be used for the general purposes of the organisation, and the receipt of the organisation shall be sufficient discharge to my Trustee."
We would be delighted to hear if you have included a bequest to the Gould Group in your Will. By letting us know your intentions it will help us plan for the future and in addition, it would allow us to thank you personally.
