Get some Vegecation these school holidays with the Gould League at Centro Box Hill.
Following the success of Vegecation Winter, Centro Box Hill is bringing back its popular free holiday program, teaching kids to grow their own plants and showing them from garden to plate how gardening, vegetables and cooking combined can create delicious meals.
Running from 11am to 2pm daily in the second week of school holidays, parents and children can visit Centro Box Hill and get involved in a fun, free and educational experience – away from the classroom. Aimed at children aged 6-15, this FREE event takes kids on a unique, exciting journey offering a range of activities for kids to get their hands dirty! There will be a free potting station where kids can plant a different take home seedling each day. Over the week children can collect an entire range of salad veggie seedlings, including lettuce, tomato, capsicum and cucumber.
Gould League will be delivering Spring Vegecation activities between October 3-7, 2011 so come down to Centro Box Hill – we’d love to meet you!
