Site Guide

The animals in this site are wild, and free to come and go as they choose. This ensures we are observing genuine behaviours and really learning about these animals in their natural state. It also means that there may not always be an animal in every nest box. While the live animal cameras are an exciting feature, there are lots of other cool things to read, watch and do on this site. We encourage you to look around.

Explore the FAQs which are full of interesting information, not only about the animals but about the technology behind the project – an amazing story in itself.

Find out how to enjoy visits from these animals in your own backyard by visiting our Habitats section containing information and resources to help you set up your own nestboxes and backyard wildlife sanctuary.
