Melbourne Wildlife Sanctuary
The Melbourne Wildlife Sanctuary is a joint venture between Gould League and La Trobe University providing an educational context for Australia's natural heritage. In his capacity as Education Officer, Dr Adrian Daniell contributed significantly to setting up the nestboxes, cameras and equipment, as well as to biological information on the site.

La Trobe University is the Gould League’s partner in the Melbourne Wildlife Sanctuary project. The amazing animal feeds are delivered via the La Trobe University network.

DDSN Interactive has been the creative technology partner on several award-winning Gould League websites. They’ve really pushed the envelope with flash technology and integrating the live video feeds to deliver this beautiful site. Nocturnal Solutions - specialists in wildlife survey equipment - coordinated the cameras, cabling, software and hardware behind Australian Wildlife Cam. Nocturnal Solutions’ founder Gary Connor has contributed many hours to develop the innovative solution feeding this website as well as working on trench-digging and installing equipment.

The Department of Education & Training funded the first program at the Melbourne Wildlife Sanctuary, Habitat Heroes. This work seeded several ideas for the Sanctuary including those that became the Australian Wildlife Cam.
